It's well-built and the perfect camera from someone migrating from a film SLR to digital.

Even with the new Sony offerings, it's value stays strong.

Great camera!

The Minolta 7D is a great camera with ease of use. I am able to use all of my lenses from my Maxxum 9000 to use on this camera as well as a Maxxum 5D. I especially like the wireless feature for controlling multiple off camera flash units.

A very nice camera but too slow for good action shots. Durable built, not too heavy.

It is a great camera. I has never let me down. Has a lot of room to grow into. Functins are easy to use and manipulate. Love the big LCD screen. It is enough camera for the beginner and the pro.

In-camera anti-shake really works. Most controls easy to use. Great flexibility. Excellent exposure control. Shame prior Minolta flashes will not work with it. Disappointing that KM decided to exit the photo business - let's hope Sony does something good with it.

I love this camera. I especially like the anti-shake feature built into the body. This camera goes everywhere with me. I think Konica made a big mistake not to produce this product anymore.

Totally thrilled with the picture quality, ease of use and anti-shake built in to the body. I have been a big Minolta fan since the days of the Maxxum 7000 and have an extensive lens collection in this mount, so it was a natural evolution to the 7D.

Almost every control is physically on the outside of the camera -- a breeze to set up and change settings. The Quality is outstanding and color representations are very good.

Went digital with this after using the Maxxum 7 for 9 months. Since the design is so similar to the film Maxxum 7, my only learning curve is the digital portion. I've only had it a couple of days but so far it's been easy to learn and easy to use. All the features you'd expect in a SLR of this class (DOF preview, AEL, Exposure/Flash Compensation, built in exposure meter and focus lock, Manual, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, or Full Auto, etc.) as well as great digital features like ISO from 100-1600 (or auto ISO), Auto White Balance, Programmed White Balance or Custom White Balance and so on. Lovin' it so far, don't see any down side.

The camera takes good pictures and the anti-shake is a real boon. The unit is heavy, though.
