The Dimage RD 3000 uses Minolta's new Hybrid Seamless Imaging System (Dual CCD). It delivers ultra-high resolution of 2.7 million pixels (1,98l x 1,360) for sharp, clear prints to as large as 16.8(L) x 11.5(H) cm (similar to 5 x 7 inch) in 300 dpi mode. In addition, a low-pass filter and infrared-rays reduction mirror are employed in the relay optics to minimize the weakening of sensitivity to visible light, further ensuring superb images. What's more, compared with other digital SLRs in this class, the cost per pixel is less than half.
