It is easy to use, gives me the option of auto of manual controls. It's a great camera to learn on.

I purchased this camera as a starter for my hobby. Its good deal since I'm still learning about the basics of photography. What I like about it is that the pictures are sharp and the colors are vivid. It has a 35-80 AF and with different scenes. However its lack of manual aperture and shutter settings makes it difficult for me to experiment beyond snapshots especially when it comes to taking still life photos. Though it is nice to have a more sophisticated SLRs, this trustee camera can capture the emotion and life you subject one to it.

It is very hard to find information on this camera. In fact, I haven't found any. It doesn't even come up on the Minolta website. Other than that, its a good camera. A bit different from the manual SLR that I used to use (Yashica TL Electro). Everything is automatic, except for the manual focus option. I would just like to know how to manually change the shutter speed.
