Super solid course. Very useful for anyone anyone looking to move into the realm of paid photography. The homework assignments are challenging and useful. Vik is a strong instructor and definitely an inspiration in terms of what it takes to create and maintain a successful business. Only modification I suggest is an incorporation of new media. At this point in time there needs to be at least some mention of the various internet tools - facebook, blogs, twitter, etc. Overall, I can say that my business benefited from this course dramatically.

Vik, this course has been FABULOUS - exactly what I needed just weeks before I launch my photography business. I have gotten SO MUCH out of the past 8 weeks. I finished my marketing plan (FINALLY!), have a solid product prototype and pricing for my pets & people market, and have designed a direct mail campaign ready to implement for my architectural segment. But maybe the most important - and unexpected - thing that I will take away from this course is a new perspective on image editing thanks to you. It doesn't feel much like "cheating" anymore...it's just the reality of how competitive this business actually is. And I intend to be successful at it.

This is an excellent class to learn the business of photography. I think anyone from a beginner to someone who has been in business for a long time will benifit from this class. I have been in business for several years and still picked up many great ideas. I think everyone who takes this course should also purchase and read Vik's book Building Your Photography Business.
