I bought my OffTrail 2 in 2002 shortly after getting my EOS D60. I wanted a 'codpiece' type bag which would hold the D60 with the battery grip and a sensible lens without being huge and conspicuous. The bag 'just' manages to hold the D60 with my Tokina 70-200 f2.8 ATX-Pro attached (hood reversed). Because my gear is quite heavy I tend to use both the shoulder strap and the waist belt together (gives that extra piece of mind too), strap takes most of the weight, belt stops it all moving around when climbing and leaves both hands free to hang on :-) My only 'gripe' is the dimensions of the supplied lens cases, I've had to replace both mine with larger diameter LowePro cases to shoehorn my 28-70 f2.8 and 18-30 in. On the whole a reasonably sized well protected bag for those who don't want a full backpack style baggie.
