I like how I have zoom, unlike the Kodak I also use but I don't like how the batteries are always dying on me and the resolution isn't the best.

THE LCD SCREEN IS GOOD. THE ZOOMING POWER IS PERFECT BUT IT CONSUMES POWER VERY FAST LIMITING ONE TO TAKE PHOTOS AT EASE.
THE SIZE IS TOO SMALL, AND HENCE THE SHAKE IS VERY LIKELY.

I love this camera I bought it for my husband, but he didn't use it much...so I took it over...it was pretty inexpensive, and I think it takes great shots.

For the price, this camera is pretty good (unless you want to use manual control). Pros: Portability, un-delete option, self-timer, fairly simple menus. Movie mode is pretty good, even in low light, but you don't hear sound during play-back on the camera. No matter what menu you are in or what you are doing with the camera, as long as it's on you can press the shutter button (or movie record button, if there is enough battery) and it will take a picture. Another good thing is that you can tag a photo to be printed when you transfer it to the computer or printer. Cons: The camera often says that the batteries are completely out after they were full a few photos ago (even with good NiMH batteries), but usually they "gain" some power after a couple minutes. That can be pretty annoying sometimes. Another problem with this camera is that when I press the shutter (even if I already have the focus) the camera waits about a second or half a second before it captures the shot. You can miss some good shots because of that. Another thing that bugs me about this camera is that it won't let you take macro shots if you are less than about 6" from the subject or if you are in dim light (even if you use flash, which isn't a good idea up-close). After you turn the camera off, all settings are forgotten except for sharpness and saturation. Barrel distortion is a little bothersome, too.

Low cost. Compact size. Easy to use. Has all of the basic features. Has a 12X zoom. Only downside is that night photography is difficult.
