I have among my 1970s SLR's a Petri FT 1000.It is the first SLR camera I obtained back in 1988 ,when I sold my Petri rangefinder to an aspiring female photog. It serves my needs with its universal thread mount, self timer, shutter speeds from Bulb to 1/1000th ,preview exposure button, asa dial from 25 to 1600 asa, full travel film advance lever, synced hot shoe, tall shutter button, back film box flap window, and center weighted light metering view.I bought it in St. Paul ,Minnesota when the Camera Store there went out of business from the Owner's own collection for $50.00 with a normal 50mm lens, and a leather case. I still use it and it all works like new.I hope they keep making the MS76 batteries it uses.(I keep ALL my camera bodies and lenses in large zip lock bags when not in use.)
