Upgrade from 1st XG body, XG-7. Full feature view finder w/auto selected shutter speed, aperature shown, and recently found how to mod the electronics to show manually selected shutter speed in manual mode instead of the leds turned off in manual mode. A great help when using manual speeds at or slower than X sync. DOF/preview button really helps in portrait and/or landscape shots to show how much is in focus on final shot. Next best shooter to my SRTs and X570-X9 bodies.

For $35.00 at a swap-meet, 7 years ago, I couldn't be happier. It had a dead battery!

This old 1980 version with it's standard50mm, and Marexar 80 - 200mm Zoom lens served me well for 23 years without a single problem. A good workhorse if you can get one.
