I loved this lens when I had my Nikon. I could move in very close to wildflowers and actually fill the frame. The lens is sharp and wonderful to use.

Classic lens, with a number of iterations. Pleasant focal lebgth, sharp pix when stopped down 1-2 stops. Mechanically a brick -- although mine is a 28 year old brick by now. Been through lot of miles and keeps on tickin'
