In a word AWESOME! This tripod is a lightweight carbon that has heavy duty capabilities. The legs lock at any conceivable angle, and the legs can be locked down individually at different angles to suit any situation. It can lower flat to the ground without the center support being a problem. Also the center column not only raises, but also rotates into a horizontal position. This makes a side arm unneccesary for reaching out and above your subject.
The only drawback is big bucks.
