It's an everyday camera; zooms of small objects (example: small bird) don't come in clear or large enough to enjoy. It's great for general people and pet pics, some scenery, landscape shots. Use appropriate film type for your interest and it's usually just fine.

Question: Does anyone own one of these that hasn't been repaired and still actually works?
I got more complaints from relatives to look at dead 35mm Freedom Zooms over the years than any other 35mm P&S camera. The zoom advance gears (plastic) broke often on theirs, sometimes a cold solder on circuit board came loose and killed the whole thing, sometimes a problem with the autofocus encoder module. They're a pain to work on.
Fortunately, the relatives now buy digicams that break just about as often, but they don't bug me about those anymore, they just keep buying new ones.

this is a great camera for amateur photographers. I like the time/date features for scrapbooking and the quality is always excellent. Very simple to use and has several features such as night flash that are nice.

My daughter's camera. She's happy with it. It's easy to use. It was her first camera when she was younger. She tends to use my Canon Rebel now.
