This has everything you want in a 35mm film--vivid color saturation (ideal for landscapes), low contrast and excellent skin tones for people pics, and incredibly fine grain and sharpness for post-8 x 10 enlargements.

It also prints well on papers other than Fuji--many people suggest it is amazing when printed on Kodak Royal paper (I develop my film at Black's which uses Fuji Crystal Archive).

I've used this on my SLR and my point and shoot Olympus and got stunning pics from both. Of course I'd reccomend outdoor useage for this film, but if you have a powerful enough flash, you'll get good results indoors.

Can you imagine a film this good at a higher ISO? Well, you wouldn't get the fine grain, but still...

The print version of Velvia. Very detailed, low grain, very warm colors. I love the way the colors almost drip off the paper when printed. Make sure the processing compay has a channel set up for Reala as it is tricky to print on the standard Fuji 100 track.

I started shooting this film for general applications as an answer for the unavailablity of Kodak's Royal Gold 100 color print film. The film is incredibly sharp and I agree that it does almost appear to be a print version of Fuji's Velvia, though Velvia still appears to hold even more detail and color saturation. This film is very forgiving, like most print films and the grain structure is extremely tight. I have received similiar results with Kodak's Royal Gold 200 even with the jump in speed. A great general purpose film that most labs can develope reasonably accurately.
