I have the 14x54 lens and the E3 and that lens is great. I also have the 70x300 lens and it also works great with the E3. This camera has a large and bright view finder. Olympus did a good job of listening to E-1 owners regarding needed improvements and implemented most of those in the E-3. Like the E-1, it is built like a tank and is truly water and dust resistant -- even the pop up flash and fully articulating LCD are sealed! Features and quality are clearly aimed at pro and advanced amateur users. It feels great in the hand and is fast and responsive in demanding shooting situations. The in-body Image Stabilization (IS)is very effective and allows 'IS' function with any 4/3rd's Standard lens. ISO's up to 800 are very clean and even above that are very usable with little or no noise reduction processing applied. Perhaps the greatest improvements over previous Oly DSLR's are the auto-focus speed, and the clear, bright viewfinder which is just outstanding. Colors are the accurate and yet vibrant colors olympus owners have come to expect. So far, I'm a very happy E-3 owner -- I highly recommend it. God Bless, Greg 1/9/2008 11:53:12 AM
