The content covered is very basic and can be found for $12 in a book or for free on websites such as digital-photography-school.com. I say go there and learn the information. Rob Sheppard is extremely knowledgeable and if you read his lesson once, and then go back and read it a second time (they're not long), everything he is teaching you makes perfect sense and the "guaranteed better photos" is true. His critiques are honest, to-the-point, and helps you understand not only what you could have done better, but what you did right. It's all about the lesson, not fluff. The fundamentals are essential to being able to capture the beauty in the world, but they can be overwhelming. I learned a lot from his course and am no longer afraid to take my cameral off manual. In fact, I do not even use manual any more, and my pictures are better than before. I was expecting to learn things I did not know, I am not saying that I knew everything but I was expecting more. The class was easy to understand, the teacher was great with the critiques. I just don't think the money was worth it for a very short class. Maybe I was expecting a hard class like math or something. I thought it was gonna be a little more difficult and long class like my Nikon D-80 class which was great and that is where I learned a lot of the things they teach on this class. 3/5/2009 3:19:31 PM
