Once you get to know its ins and outs, it can produce some terrific, high-quality pictures as good or better than some of those bigger ones can get. And you don't have to tinker with a whole bunch of gadgets EVERY TIME. But don't go expect to take a hi-def picture of a dragonfly in mid-flight or anything.
