My DCS520 has been a workhorse for about 4 years of heavy shooting in all conditions. My primary photography is shooting sports teams, so I'll have 10-150 kids to shoot at any given time -- indoors or outdoors, day or night. It's been incredably reliable considering the number of exposures I've made over the years.
Besides the whiz bang digital stuff (which is now pretty mundane and out of date considering the age of the camera) the thing I like the most about the DCS520 is the ergonomics and the feel of the system. Kudos for the design goes to Canon, since this is based on the EOS camera body.
I'll be upgrading to a newer model soon (better resolution, smaller size, smaller & longer life batteries, and larger viewing screens being the primary reason) and haven't yet decided whether to go with Kodak's latest versions or with the Canon offerings.

decent...it was probably nice new but I bought it used and the screen and flash don't work.
