This is My first Digital camera and I personally think it produces some great quality photos. only let down is the digital view finder ( not good to see if it is in perfect focus )

good point and shoot, lightweight for travel etc. clear lens and good color handling, but not a real portrait camera or anything professional (i.e. no SLR)

This is not the easiest camera to use. I beg to differ that it is a camera for the advanced amateur. I believe to use this camera, it helps to have some talent. Once one develops an understanding of this camera; the timing, speed and focal point, one can begin to generate images with the abilty to make people feel on a visceral level. karen e michaels

Good quality images, but relatively poor shutter lag. Fairly extensive feature set.

My first digicam. Bought very recently. Although I haven't use any other digicam before, but gone through a lots of digicam tests and checked actual pics. I found it excellent. Very nice colour....crisp images. It has got full manual control. So any serious amateur can use it, with full control on it. I will definitely go for Fuji again 'n again. Bravo Fuji!!

It is a very slow camera and has a delay of a second or so before the image is taken, its also very nasty when zooming in and blurs very easy and is difficult to get a clear image, the batteries die within 5 mins which is a pain.
