What I've learned the most is that now I want to get all the "extras" to go with my camera. I guess I'll take that one step at a time. I've got the EF 70-200mm F/2.8L IS on my christmas list. I tried experimenting with different functions of the camera in a hit and miss fashion. The course has given me a knowledge that allows me to work totally in manual mode - which is a feeling of having much more control over the camera. It took a lot of looking in the manual and learning some of the technical terms that were over my head, but it was well worth it. We shot photos using different functions and covered lots of great info. Two of my favorite tips involvled setting a custom white balance and mirror lock-up. Jim was also great and very patient about promptly responding to and answering any questions we had. I highly recommend this class to anyone with this model camera who wants to learn how to actually get in there and use it beyond the basics 9/2/2006 5:19:05 PM
