Small in size and handy to use, but lower in megapixels than more recent models. It doesn't have the quality or zoom that higher end cameras nowadays have.

Small size great for backpacking trips. No manual controls, just point & shoot. May not use much now that I have a digital camera.

It's very easy and lightweight. Zoom capability is satisfactory. Colors and sharpness are always excellent.

For a point and shoot camera it takes absolutely wonderful photos. It is great for backpacking in Europe due to the small size. One bad thing is that it is fully automatic. It is a very good camera but can't compair to an SLR.

With this camera there is no zoom, and for some reason the exposure time is very delayed, which makes taking picures a bit frustrating. The only good thing about it is the occasional good picture and the small size.

The Elph is tiny! Fits into your shirt pocket or your purse so you end up taking it everywhere you go. It's so simple that anyone can use it - even if you are not a die-hard photographer. The quality of the pictures is great. The APS format is simple, flexible, convenient - it is one format that is here to stay. The only drawback that I can think of - if you can call it a drawback - is that people with big hands may have a hard time working the tiny controls. It is compact!
