I've had the camera since Christmas (2006). It's one of the best digital cameras I've had (3 previous ones). I'm still learning all the uses of it, but so far I love it. It's great for close ups & for far-away photos. And to me, It's easy to use. And it has a large LDC screen, which is easier on the eye.

It's a camera that I'll be using on strenuous hikes. We're planning to hike the Grand Canyon (if we can get into Phantom Ranch) end of April '06. This is a lot of camera for such a tiny thing! Still learning about its capability....So far the photos are good quality. I'll need to use a hiking pole as a monopod however. Camera shake is a real problem with me and small equipment. I won't be trading in my Rebel, however.
