I have used my OM-4T constantly, both for pro work and for fun since 1993.
It has never failed me. It has many features and functions, and no idiosyncrancies to get in the way of making photos.

For film I love this camera. The multi-spot metering is very intuitive giving a lot of exposure control. The memo exposure storage makes manual mode unnecessary most of the time. I have yet to find a DSLR that behaves as intuitive as this camera. Reliability is not as good as other cameras, quickly suffers from moisture. Probably the most fun film camera I have ever used. The viewfinder is truly 1x with 50mm lens, but harder to see the full frame with glasses. I will miss this camera a lot, but film scanning is too much trouble with limited time.

Has multispot capable of a maximium of 8 readings that can be averaged. the camera is Apeture priority, and Manual. It is the only camera that has the ability to take an exposure of 4 minutes in auto mode, if the light changes, the camera will adjust ro compensate. (no other camera has this ability, not Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Minolta etc. the longest they go is 30 sec.) When light is at the the lowest level, this camera can get the shots.

In a nutshell, the OM4T is the best camera I have ever had for Nature Photography. Among others, it has features such as OTF (off the film) metering without which I could not possibly have coped with some complex photographic situations. Nature photography, particularly in Africa or Madagascar, which are classic places for nature photograpy, often requires quick reflexes and accurate metering to cope with often contrasting lights and shadows, so one needs a very reliable metering system. The OM's Zuiko optics are also excellent.
