Moved up from 1D, 10D, and 400D. This is a superior camera. I do birds and it's so easy to capture flight and other poses.

Love the instant gratification of digital, offers the ability to correct mistakes in the field. Unlike the consumer grade digital cameras, this model does not have the shutter lag time. This model accepts all Canon and less expensive lenses. With the proper techniques, this camera approaches medium-format quality.

Upgrade from 20D,Excellent camera. Pro: 1.Focusing speed/acuracy is the best. 2.Very fast 8.5 Frames/sec. 3.Built like a brick. 4.Excellent exposure. 5.Long battery life. 6.Use CF and SD in any combinations 7.Bigger LCD, better for checking focus. Cons: None so far..

I love my Mark II N.
I photograph high school sports part time and needed the speed. The camera is user friendly and the menu is easy to browse through.
My camera is still fairly new and I still have plenty to learn.

I have used both the 1Dn and the 5D. For true photojournalism, this camera is by far the best of the best.. Easy to use, intuitive control layout and great speed and image clarity!

For action photography this is the best camera I have used. The camera's peed is sensational, but the 70 - 200mm f2.8 lens with image stabiliser makes panning much more succesful.

I have been behind a few cameras in my career but this camera stands alone. The speed and clarity is just awesome. I shoot with multiple large lenses and converters. This camera spins the AF with no problem and with long battery life. Worth every penny !
