Response 1:Love this very original shot! Hope he didn't step on you. lol very nice
- Teresa Moore

Response 2:Thank you, Roxanne and Teresa. No, he didn't step on me, but he was about 12 inches from my 16mm wide angle lens.
And I could only get this kind of perspective laying on the ground and shooting up with an extreme wide angle.

Response 3:Patience is key in photography. It's why I like to teach exposure - it slows you down, and gets you thinkin' about creating an image, instead of taking one.

It was a long 30 sec. exposure - essentially the sun had set and the long exposure smoothed out the small ripples in the water.

Yes, I love shooting adventure and these guys were climbing along a spine in Horseback Canyon, repelling and jumaring up and down the beautiful red rock. I waited for the canyon in the background to fall into shade, separating him nicely in the late afternoon light.Thx, Tammy!

Installing a Truss
I was looking for a dramatic angle for this shot. The difficulty is showing all of what is happening in one shot. Here you can see the crane lowering a truss and people preparing to catch it.

Response 1:Hi Sherry,
I really enjoy shooting the working environment. The opportunity to tell a story with images is very rewarding. In this case the way the operation was choreographed was really fabulous. Everyone knew where to be and what to do. All I had to do was shoot. I have shot this same operation on other houses, and made some more fine images.
Thanks!
