- Note: Jim will be leading a photo tour to Kenya from Sept. 21 to Oct. 7. He will have limited Internet access during this time, so to make up for this hiatus in the course, Jim will extend the course for 3 additional weeks. This will give him enough time to do all the critiques, plus he can share with you his photos from the trip and explain many of the photographic challenges he faced and his solutions for dealing with issues such as shooting in low light, protecting gear from dust, tough exposure situations, using teleconverters, shooting from a vehicle, and more.
This extended course format also gives you more time to think of questions you’d like to ask. At periodic points during the tour, he can usually get on–line to answer your questions, but as soon as he returns the critiques will continue at full pace.
For those students signing up for the course beginning Oct. 1, Jim will begin your critiques starting Oct. 7. He will be available to answer your questions before that, however, if you need help with any kind of photographic issues.
