What quick advice do you have for someone who simply wants to improve their photography skills?
William Neill:
I suggest that they study the history of photography, especially in their primary specialization. Study books and websites of the photographers you admire. Read about how they photograph and what they try to say with their images.
More importantly, believe that you are a unique individual that sees the world differently than anyone else. Take workshops and photograph often. Be playful and have fun with your photography.
