Welcome to my gallery.

Do you fancy leaving a comment on any of my pictures? I would love to see it through your eyes. Which one do you like, what do you like about it, what captured your attention?

And if images stir your passions, show me a glint of them. Which one warms you, which one leaves you cold, which one makes you shrug your shoulders and sends you looking for something else? Oh, don’t just “be nice” – tell me what you do and don’t like! Concerned about doing this in public? That’s fine, just send me an e-mail.

Suggestions on how to improve a photo will also be appreciated... after I calm down and stopped shouting “How dare you suggest that it isn’t perfect!”

Bio

I live in Sydney, Australia.
I remember having a Brownie when I was a child and thoroughly enjoying taking pictures. I lost interest in photography shortly after - lots of reasons for this and all too personal to mention here.
But now - 40 years on - I acquired a digital compact camera and started having a ball! I quickly progressed to a digital SLR and I'm still having fun a few years on.
I think of myself as a beginner when it comes to photography. I'm starting to learn what I like, what makes a great shot, what I want out of this hobby. If I had to use one word for what I'm looking for in taking photos, it would have to be "fun". All the way from getting up in the middle of the night to spend a day shooting pictures, to looking at the world through new eyes, to seeing the wonderful shots others have taken, to looking at one of my pictures and saying "I really like this!"
