I have enjoyed photogaphy as a hobby for over 20 years. I lived in Europe for 14 years & I did mostly people/culture photography. I have recently returned to my home state of Montana & now want to concentrate on nature photography. I live in a gorgeous valley surrounded by mountains. Incredible beauty abounds everywhere! I really would like to be able to capture this beauty in creative, dynamic ways & be able to share it with others. I just turned 50 & I just took the plunge into digital photography--it is a little daunting for me, but at the same time very exciting.
I love nature, I love especially to spend time in the mountains; skiing, hiking, picnicing, whatever! Both photography & writing poetry bring me much creative satisfaction. I would like to be able to grow in leaps & bounds in my photography skills & artistic expression this coming year! I want to move away from mere documentation to more artistic images in my photography.
