I never had an interest in photography until digital came along. I've always been a frustrated artist, because, I never felt comfortable with any of the traditional mediums. I purchased my first camera in 2000. It was a Nikon 950 and it was love at first shoot. of course that was until I tried to download my pictures. My second camera is a Nikon 5700 and it served its purpose until my most recent camera a Nikon D70 which brought me to a whole new level of interest in photography. My wife calls it an obsession and I believe she my have hit the nail on the head. I am a husband and father of a 15yr old boy and I miss the days when they did not flee in horror at the site of me with my camera. I love to shoot nature and Macro landscapes along with impromtu portraits. I have a Epson 2200 printer and I believe that I derive as much pleasure from printing as I do going on shoots. I hope to at some point in the future become competent enough to be able to consider myself a professional.
