For me, taking photographs is more than just the act of pointing a camera at something. It's more like zen meditation. When I set out to take photographs I let the photograph find me wrather than the other way around. I believe that the best photographs are taken when simply taking a walk in the park or waiting for the bus. Most of the great shots only appear when one is not really looking for them. Therefore, most of my pictures capture things people ordinarily overlook. Whether it's a particular person or group of people or just a random store display. When photographing people I feel the best shots are taken when the subject is completely unaware. This allows a true image to be shot where the subject's true essence can be portrayed.
