Once bitten by the photography bug, I continued to take pictures whenever I could and eventually bought my first 35-millimeter SLR camera during my senior year of high school. By 1981, I had enrolled in a community college photography course, which led me to a job in the U.S. Navy. At age 19, I enlisted to become a Photographer's Mate and the Navy assigned me to maintenance and repair work on the cameras mounted on its F-14 Tomcat fighter jets. I never took a single photo for the Navy!
Undeterred, I got my first digital camera in 2001 and have never looked back. All of the photos on my website were digitally created. At present, I am using the Canon EOS 350D Digital Rebel XT camera. I also use Adobe Photoshop and other photo-editing tools in my work.
It has long been my dream to earn a living from my photography, a dream that finally came true for me in 2003. I have enjoyed every moment spent taking the pictures you see on this site - I hope you see something in them that touches you as much as they do me.
