Holy Moses there is a lot going on in this picture!!! I love the flying dirt and the white of the eye showing in this bull-looks frightening! I am assuming you did not crop this picture-if you did and have more room on the left, could we get a peek of the rest of the bull's head? #1546243lisa anderson 9/29/2013 10:15:29 AM
Hi Elaine, I don't have any more of the bulls head; they were moving really fast, but I have some different shots I can post. These aren't the best shots ever, but I thought they might be interesting from a cultural pov #10855575Dale Hardin 9/29/2013 11:50:19 AM
Hadn't heard of that before Lisa. You sure do get around!! #10855620Stephen Shoff 9/29/2013 1:28:52 PM
They are interesting from a cultural point of view. Catching the eye on your original post really catches my attention. #10855688Elaine Hessler 9/29/2013 2:17:24 PM
Ok-Bullfight4 is my favorite! Looks like they were moving pretty quickly! #10855723Jeff E Jensen 9/29/2013 8:12:05 PM

Some great storytelling pictures, Lisa. I have had the chance to see bullfighting in Mexico but decided not too because I thought it would be too cruel. Maybe I should have gone...I, too, like #3 and wanted to compliment you on getting flying dirt. I think with these shots, you took us there. #10858465lisa anderson 10/1/2013 10:00:23 PM
I don't know if the rope hurt their noses or not, but I do know that a bull refused to fight, and it was just lead quietly away. The bull from the 2nd shot so cowed his opponent (bullfight5) they didn't fight at all. I personally thought that was a smart choice, because the bull from bullfight2 looks crazy to me. #10859581Beth Spencer 10/2/2013 2:07:01 AM
He does look crazy! #10859664Elaine Hessler 10/2/2013 4:38:10 AM
Those are amazing pictures! I like the symmetry of the one with the two men with the ropes and the bulls are engaged. #10859794I'm still going through my photos from South Korea. They have bulls fighting bulls there. I was afraid it would seem terribly cruel to the animals when I went, but mostly the bulls didn't seem to get hurt.
