This image was taken from the side of the entry into an old country church. I agree that a shot of bricks would be boring, but there are 2 patterns going on here. The elongated and decoratively shaped openings, which were a frame within a frame situation, broke the brick pattern. I also had a bit of a late afternoon light pattern inside the entry which I thought helped give the image a little more depth.
