Two lane flood.

Uploaded: April 03, 2010

Description

This is a shot from just one of the 100's of flooded roads and bridges in RI this past week from the 14+ inches of rain we received in 3 days. Handheld, 17mm, ISO 400, f6.7, custom white balance. I would have waded out a bit to get more water in the shot but the National Guard was specific about staying out of the water and they were right the watching me take my shots. This week is not a week Rhode Islanders will soon forget.

Exif: F Number: 6.7, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/125 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 17.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 40D

Thank you very much Carolyn.
Only now have the been able to begin the process of assessing all the damage. It will be a long time before things are back to normal for 1000's of Rhode Islanders. #8508271
