Saphire and Ivory

Uploaded: February 23, 2010

This is a portrait of my lovely daughter, Jessica. I don't have a studio for photography or any lights. This was shot for use as reference for a portrait painting demonstration that I will we doing this weekend. I wanted to get it started as the time for the demo will be short. I needed to simulate the light that I will have to paint in. So I lit her with an Ott light that is supposed to simulate daylight. Hope this works!
