Well, hello!
Uploaded: February 22, 2010
Used the soft effect as taught by Richard Lynch (Correct and Enhance Your Images) to give the sensation of softness to this young coon kit's coat.
Captured in August, 2008 when while still a baby, she visited the peanut feeder with her mom.

Re-worked. This took me awhile to learn to create masks and protect the highlights from being burned out with levels. Still have a way to go to learn techniques to get this right.

Excellent job, Bunny! #8425309Bunny Snow March 01, 2010
Thank you, Barbara,Unlike the cook kit, it takes me more time to something, like learn digital darkroom work. I struggled over this image for two years and finally learned how to create masks that sheltered my highlights when using Levels. I have a very dense brain.
Appreciate your comment on my image.

Terrific capture and treatment Bunny ~ well worth the time taken to learn the technique ~ you're ahead of me! #9023731Bunny Snow November 10, 2010
I took Richard's course about three years ago. Unable to take courses more often because I cannot sit that long. Have lots of physical therapy to do and Photoshop slows everything down or makes me go backwards. However, different instructors offer different tips, which I've found very useful. This was a easy technique to learn.
Thanks for browsing through my gallery, Susie! #9025779
