Beautiful full frame shot, Sheri!

My Email to you bounced, so I will post it here.

I use Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM and use a tripod 99% of the time for everything.

Try using your sports program or shutter priority (depending on the camera). The closer you can get to the birds, the better. Try some less flighty birds first :-)

Thanks so much Barbara. Nice lens. I don't have that one but someday.....And it looks like a tripod is in the works for me. I have two but.....Anyway not much to shoot around here. I will try the sports setting. My camera is the Xti Canon. Haven't had it very long at all. I am thinking of taking the next class on it. Well, thank you so much for your input - helps a lot. And again to you - - - great photography!!!! Sheri #8288749

Thanks Meg,
One of my favorites. I enlarged this one as it was my Mother's flower and put the words "Angles Watching Over Me" on it and framed it for over her bed. She went to be with her Savior not long after. #8453713
