Giggle of Girls

I added some glow to this one. The other is still in my gallery; which do you like better? I entered this one because the colours were warmer and I like the glow. The downside is that their dresses are pretty blown, especially Maggie's there in the back. Do you find that distracting? #261565

Sandy Landon June 11, 2005

I really like this one. IMO her dress is not distracting to me because she is in softer focus so I didn't expect to see the details as much. Love the warmer tone and the glow. Great expressions on the face. Great photo. #1457135

I like both versions.

I want to be a REAL photographer like you! ("not a REAL photographer"--my hind leg!)

I think you pulled this one off perfectly ... part of me wants to put Maggie's head top on ... but ... technically her missing top is part of what accents her face and giggle.

LOL I bet they continued to be the best of partners in crime as all the proceedings continued. It's not just their giggle ... such anticipation ... hard to find in the face of the "mature"

have fun,

WOW, this really is a very nice shot. I think your glow effect worked really well.
The image is so sharp. The moment I saw it I had a smile on my face, it just makes me with I am there myself.

lovely shot. #1457813

Olivia Navarro June 11, 2005

Ok Amanda, I take back my comment from the other day. :-) Apparently you CAN improve this shot! LOL

The glow is the perfect touch to this wonderful shot. The blown highlights don't detract me in the least. I think it sort of adds to the general glow this whole picture has.

LOVE IT! #1457823

Wow, thank-you all for the overwhelming response! Pam, you weren't far off about their antics, but this was after the wedding when the pressure was off. Maggie was a perfect angel and did her duties very well, wooden smile and all! Abigail on the other hand, hadn't been able to make it the rehearsal so she sorta freaked out when they were coming down the aisle. Maggie continued on sort of pulling Abigail along, while Abigail's mom pushed her forward from behind. It was a classic flower girl moment! I'll upload a pic I've been working on. Have a great weekend everybody! #1459572

I really like this photo too. I don't see it as a photo of two girls though. I see it as a photo of the dark haired girl with others in the background. The focus on the first girl makes it about her. #2239762

Thanks to you all! Dennis, I think perhaps you are right. :) #2253211
