Spectacular, Gordon. What a lovely flower - I have heard of trillium, but never seen one. Beautifully shot in natural setting - really sets it off nicely! #258292

Thanks, Marsha! Purple ("wet dog")trillium is another variety that grows around here, but their flowers tend to face the ground and it's hard to get a good shot of them. They also smell like a wet dog!

Very nice shot. Similar to my "Ontario Flower". Mine was taken in Algonquin Provinial Park. There was painted ones there as well, but there were flows on them. yours is flowless. good job #1433395

Thanks, Bill! I've never seen a white trillium, but I see from a distribution map that it's range extends very close to here. I'll be keeping my eyes open! (or maybe take a trip to Algonquin next spring)
