Upsidedown Downy

Uploaded: November 05, 2009

Description

Year-round resident male Downy Woodpecker. He always clings upsidedown when at this suet feeder. All our other Woodpeckers feed in the normal position while at the suet cages here ~ it's just this little Downy that has the habit of feeding in the upsidedown position at this particular feeder. Image captured on our acreage in South West British Columbia, Canada.

Thank you Ann ~ appreciate your time! Generally speaking, at the suet feeders the Woodpeckers here don't feed upsidedown ~ just this little Downy :) I'll change the description to indicate it's just this little guy with that habit here. #8106942
