Dhu Lough: For My Father

Uploaded: November 02, 2009

Description

This is the last image my Dad critiqued for me before he died two years ago. He taught me darkroom in the 1950s when paper was varied, superb and took hours of washing. He took pleasure almost to the end in B&W photo magazines, and was proud of his daughter's awards and website. He never, however, understood my passion for photographing cows.

Today would have been his 92nd birthday, the age he thought he was for the last muddled years of his life. Happy birthday, My Father!
