WHAT A WINDOW

Uploaded: October 03, 2009

Description

The New York Yacht Club Building, located in Manhattan on West 44th St. between 5th & 6th Avenues, is one of the most expressive examples of Beaux-Arts architecture in America. The limestone facade is sculpted with nautical motifs featuring a trio of windows carved to resemble the sterns of 17th Century Dutch yachts. Next time you're in the neighborhood check it out.

You're not kidding Joseph! WHAT A WINDOW, INDEED!

I love this sort of ornate architecture. It's so lovely.

Oh..I thought I'd tell you...Patina and I are one in the same. :)

It's a standing joke on BP...I do SP's and I give each one her own name. They are either sisters or cousins. Because I use so many DDR techniques I can have many different looks about me.

My HAMS for friends play along! HA! If you look back into my gallery you can meet more of them...'er, me!
