Description

I just can't get enough of these little beauties... This is from one of the MINI sunflowers that are blooming underneath my bird feeder and every time I have my camera out I can hear them calling me! Evening time, ISO 400, 100MM macro, f6.7, Monopod (yes I know you shouldn't LOL), 1/125 sec.

WOW this is an exquisite sunflower taken with sharp detail, vivid color, terrific lighting and outstanding composition, Scott!! I like the subdued background, as well!! #1177759

Thanks a bunch Melissa. Its photos like this one that the more I look at I realize hey, I am starting to figure all this out. LOL I hadn't had my 100mm Macro out in forever and I just threw it in the bag on the way out the door, and I am glad I did. The best part of all isn't even caught in this photo. My 2 year old was taking it upon himself to hold the flower still for papa. (Well as still as he could) LOL I tried a few different angles and this one had the best background. Its really crowded behind the flower and it wasn't as easy getting the right line up. Once again, thank you very much!!!! :) #7923637
