Nikon D100, Nikkor AF-S 12-24mm f/4G DX, 1/3 sec, f/11, 20mm (EF 30mm), Manual Exposure / Spot Meter, WB Cloudy -1, ISO 200, CP, 100% of frame

My first outing with my new 12-24 and I was lucky enough to be presented with this situation. The heavy fog on this morning had started to break and then the sun began shooting beams down through the trees. This is my first time trying to capture beams like this so any suggestions on how I could improve this would be greatly appreciated.
