Description

The moment was perfect, the sky so beautiful with the sun rising and the clouds of an in-coming storm starting to enter the scene…I heard Jack calling out from behind me and as I turned back around a line of ducks had began swimming across the river and a Great Blue Heron flew into the morning’s golden light. Thank you to Jack and Monnie for making my time in Marietta so memorable and sharing your anniversary with me. I hope you both renew your options in another 3 years! Marietta Ohio, 8/18/09 at 7:04 am. Canon 5D, 17-40L, Manual, f/8, 1/100 sec. at 21mm. Tripod and release.

There are memorable moments and then there are memorable moments: you have captured this moment that you shared with a couple of friends. Just think years from now when you look at this beautiful moment all those memories will come flooding back to you, well captured and presented my friend. #7881515

You bet it was Jack calling out to you -- I was busy slurping coffee up in our room trying to make it to half awake!

This is absolutely gorgeous, Amanda -- catching the heron and ducks makes it even more special. Those early morning colors are just awesome! We had a great time too! It's time to start planning the next great adventure, don't you think? #7881947

An outstanding photo of this beautiful time of day at one of my favorite Ohio locations. Wonderful composition with those clouds and their reflection coming together at the far right end of the bridge...and the lighting is magnificent! Having the bird and the ducks in the frame is an added plus. Glad I was there to share it with you...so what and where should we shoot next? #7883317

When I saw Jack's photo where you were set up for this, I couldn't wait to see this. What a glorious capture of beauty, Amanda. It's one of those photos where you let go of the release, smile, and know you just nailed it. Love all of the triangles you incorporated in this beautiful morning moment. The ducks and gbh are a big plus to this already amazing scene, and your timing was impeccable. #7884263
