Toad

Uploaded: April 28, 2005

Description

This little guy hopped off the trail I was hiking on, right onto a light colored beech leaf. I'm sure he felt his best defense was to freeze and "blend in", so I was able to get pretty close.

I think he just knew he would look his best with the leaf as a bg and posed so you could get this shot. It is perfect - so clear and detailed. #1301115

Thank You Ivan, Tammy, Jill and Marsha!!!! And Marsha, you may be onto something there. The next time I'm in the woods, I'm going to sit down and invite all the animals to come out and pose for BP and immortality! Worth a shot. Thanks, again.

Gordon I know a little girl that would pick this toad up and make it a pet. She plays snakes too.

Awesome capture of this little guy.

Kerby, this just might be the handsome prince waiting to be released by that beautiful little girl!
