Bass Harbor Head Light
Uploaded: June 21, 2009
Acadia National Park, Maine. Spring 09. My daughter and I froze as we waited for the sun to go down while balancing on the rocks. Not the greatest sunset but worth the wait! 3 shot HDR, Canon EOS 50D, EFS 17-55mm, F13 at 1/4-1/15-1sec ISO 100. At F22 my exposures were too long. The wind was vibrating my tripod.

Awesome scene, beautifully captured! #7662471Gary Sagnor June 22, 2009
Albert, it was my first time to Acadia and I couldn’t wait to capture this famous seen for myself! I’ve seen it over and over on the web and in print. Ann, I was amazed as I walked out on the rocks and was able to see it for myself. It really is a cool place! Thank you both very much! #7666507Mary Brooks-Brown August 17, 2009
