Beautiful shot of this hybrid tea, Tommy - the name says it all - your capture is just beautiful but wouldn't it be wonderful if you could somehow pass along the wonderful smell of it, too, for all of us to enjoy??!! Great shot! #7623869

So beautiful, Tommy!! Love the colors and lighting in this capture!! And wonder of wonders, I think I'm going to get a few blooming roses. So far the deer haven't come around to demolish them! #7624749

Thanks everyone very much for the kind words, I so appreciate them. Your right about the beautiful fragrance valarie. Of the roses I currently have I think my two favorite aromas are this one and Double Delight. I decided to not cut the grass in the hayfield near the roses and my cut flower garden areas and even though I see deer every morning and evening grazing close so far they've left mine alone Teresa. I hope you have the same luck. Now squirrels and my so called "Squirrel proof" bird feeders
are another story. Some how despite the fact I sprayed heavily around them with the smelly repell X squirrel repellent, the squirrels around here have figured out how to bend metal shaprds poles and somehow get through. I just bought new ones tonight and hope they work better. Well thanks again everyone and sorry for being so wordy tonight. Have a fantastic weekend and happy shooting. :) Tommy #7624917

so refreshing and delightful ..... great work ...I love Roses and agree with you Double Delight has a great fragrance...so the Eglantyne and Evelyn (English Roses)
Well done Tommy...good luck with the squirrels!!!LOL! #7626356

Thank you so much for the kind words Eugenio, I really appreciate them. English roses are so pretty. I want to add a small rose garden next year just for a few David Austin English roses. I have had 2 days in a row with limited squirrel problems. I tried greasing the metal bar I have the feeders hanging on to see if it makes it too slippery for the squirrels to climb up. Happy shooting Eugenio. #7634427
