Description

f/5.6, 80th, 28-135@60mm IS, Bundaberg,Uncle Ray (Peek).
This is my Uncle Ray. A fabulous and very particular photographer. I took this late last year when visiting Q'ld (Aust). This was my first opportunity to get to know both Ray and Pat as an adult. Loved the trip and a real pleasure to catch-up with these two. Shot using natural light late in the afternoon. Added mood in Photoshop. The Hasselblad is one of Ray's babies :-)

Thank you all for the kind words. Not a standout contest winner unfortunately but a nice solid portrait that I was pretty happy with. Will just have to keep trying :-)

Thanks Peggy, only tonight I received a call from Ray thanking me for sending an A3 copy of the photo (actually my Mum sent it) to him. He sounded very pleased with the shot.
He still struggles to come to grips with digital and was amazed at the quality of the print that my home printer can produce - a Canon i9950.
