Very nice Toni!

I am in the midst of looking for a new B&W film with low grain. Do you like using Ilford? I was thinking about trying Agfa's B&W slide film (I hate negs!), but they only go as low as 200, have you tried this film? Any comments on film type would be appreciated! Thanks :O)

Stephanie, the finest bw film you can use is Kodak Technical Pan 25, and Ilford Pan F 50. These would be great for tripod or still lifes. Try to get a look at the mag Practical Photography Oct. issue which was all about black and white film, papers, and chemicals, showing samples of each. I have the bw Agfa film still in the frige. I was quite surprised at the appearance of this chess shot, beautiful for a 400 film. Thanks again. I hate negs too. But you will get the hang of it, and it is worth it! #54460
