Mt. Whitney thru the Arch [Sierra Nevada Photos]
Uploaded: April 02, 2009 21:10:25
The Alabama Hills are at the base of Mt.Whitney on the eastern side of Sierra Nevada. Many western movies were filmed in these hills. There are numerous arches where one can frame the distant mountains. It is an amazing place.

Everything about this one is well done, Justin. Mt Whitney is crystal clear and sharp, the texture and light on the foreground arch is perfect, and I love the framing with that corner of sky left in to balance the composition. Excellent. #7366853Maria Coulson April 06, 2009
